It was arson, according to the newspaper. What do you do if someone drives by and torches your house at night? You can't return fire by the time they're gone. Can't stay up all night on watch--I've gotta go to work in the morning. Criminals suck, yo. Don't doubt it.
UPDATE: Just some more thoughts--It happened the same night a huge drug bust happened. Also, according to the other neighbors, one suspect has been found and he said that he threw a rock. The other suspect is still MIA.
