Books of 2010: One Day on Mars

I read another one, this time a cheapo Baen paperback by Travis S. Taylor called "One Day on Mars." It was somewhat enjoyable though you can tell that the author is somewhat new; I think that this book could have used much more editing. There was A LOT of techno mumbo-jumbo that lost my interest--in small doses and/or high writing skill, detailed description works well, but in this case I found that I just didn't care and skipped to where something happened. I also wasn't sure who the protagonists were--the corrupt Earth government or the Martian rebels who have a thing for mass murdering civilians?

I got it from the library, and if you are interested I suggest you do too.

6/10.
