I could go back and find some really nice pictures that I've taken over the years. This was just tonight!
Rock Mountain is more traditional mountains (and it's close to Denver so it gets the crowds), but around here we've got more of the mesas and cliffs. You ought to come further west sometime and visit the Colorado National Monument (across the valley from what's in the picture here), or go down to The Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, or go west into Utah where we've got Arches, Canyonlands, Goblin Valley, Dead Horse Point...
The Gunnison area is one of my favorites, we spent 2 weeks down in that area a couple summers ago. I love everything about the mountains, mesas and cliffs. I'm jealous.

Ahhhh...what nice scenery! I'm going to be in RMNP in two weeks, can hardly wait.

When all is said and done, I'm glad I didn't get that job in the wastes of WY.
