Safety and Security

Sigh. These things are normally in pockets, but won't be when I go to the airport.

I know the knives are a no-no, and the strike anywhere matches, but I'm not sure about bicflicklighter. The TSA says something about they have to be in an approved case, or something.

By the way, did you know that hand grenades are prohibited? Who knew?

Regular Bic type flick lighter are fine to carry with you on the plane in your pocket or bag. They cahnged that rule back about 3 years or so ago. You can carry your knives with you as well, as long as they ar in checked baggage (in the belly of the plane, not on you or in your carry on). Hope that clears it up for you!

But the grenades are still against the rules, though, right? I just want to make sure.

Rest assured, I was a good boy. I didn't even get taken aside for the extra pat down/full body cavity search.
