Not fair. Here in the supposedly white mountains of New Hampshire, we have yet to get any snow beyond a few teasing flakes. My snowshoes grow impatient.
It just snowed for the last two days straight. Yesterday I went for a hike up in the hills and we didn't quite have enough snow to justify snowshoes, but it was probably 8 inches in the open areas. And it looks to want to snow for the next couple days, too.
I don't know how it can snow when it is so dagumned cold out, but it sure is going to give it a try!
