Denver was fun. The Rockies lost, of course, in a spectacular way--it was 10-0. But we got some quality time in with friends and a good hotdog, so it's not all bad.
I'm heading out there in September to see the offspring and then head north from there to Dad's. Maybe this time take the long train ride through the mountains, not the shorter one.
I've never ran on the train, but I hear that it can be quite beautiful if you sit on the correct side. We were in the little Subaru, though, and I just don't fit in Japanese cars. They don't believe in people with legs as long as mine. I bet the train would be more comfortable. Hmmmmm...
