Goldilocks

Cool.

They found a planet that is only a couple times bigger than the Earth with an average surface temperature of 72 degrees F. Of course, it's 600 light years away, so the commute will be a bear...

Average temp of 72? Commute? heck maybe I'll homestead.
Wait. Averages are average. What's the high and the low?
A high of 144 and a low of zero might get a bit uncomfortable at times.

That, and it's kind of hard to tell if there's any land, or what the atmosphere is made out of...

Umm...Earth has that kind of average. It's not the weather I'm worried about, it's the gravity. Twice the earth's size? What kind of mass I wonder? And bugger the commute.

I hate to have to get there to find out. Maybe they'll figure out a way to discover all this stuff from here.
