So did you wear black, or just live the lifestyle?
My dress code was and is T-shirts and cargo pants, and my music through middle and high school was Genesis and Yes (and maybe a little bit of Blue Oyster Cult, but we don't speak of that). By the way, do you know how many trade paperback cheapo science fiction books you can fit in the pockets of a good pair of cargo pants? More than 2, I'll tell you now...

I sure as heck did. *grin*
Well, I suppose they ARE a mostly 80's phenomenon... (heeheehee)

Eh, it was more of a mindset that anything. I spent the first three years of college watching my mother die of cancer from 150 miles away.
The dress code was pretty much limited to black eyeliner and spiked hair at that point. *grin*
Spiked hair, huh. I hope you didn't meet shorter half until after that phase...
Ah, NO. SH was still in elementary school when I started college. We met much, much later.
That's good.
